Just in case there’s anyone still checking this…
Here’s what’s going on.
The future of Coffee Spoons is nebulous. I’ve been spending some time sorting through a lot of aspects of my life, including writing, and it became quite clear that I needed to take a new direction with the craft.
I know that I have never met a lot of you, and I know that most of you have been readers for some time, and I deeply appreciate your long and loyal readership. I want to keep you, and I’m fine with continued anonymity. I’ve been thinking and thinking about how to do this, and this is what I came up with:
If you want to remain informed of my writing – whether I start a new blog, or try something altogether different – please leave a comment with your email address. I accept anonymous comments on my blog, so you don’t need to tell me your name or anything about you. (To protect yourselves from spam bots, it’s best to leave your email address in this format: myemailaddress at email dot com.) For security and privacy purposes, I will delete your comment as soon as I have recorded your email address (which won’t be long after you leave the comment; I check my blog frequently). I will send you an email letting you know what I’m up to and how you can keep tracking my writing.
I don’t mean to sound egotistical; I’m not claiming any spots in the Best Writers of the World Hall of Fame (yet); but if you still want to read my bits of thoughts, my scattered rantings and my oddball stories, I would love to keep you. And if you’re still checking here after a month of my silence, you should know that I’m extremely grateful.
